Expansion Towers offers the user a rugged steel enclosure to accommodatefrom six to 20 9U x 400mm boards. The backplanes are compatible withworkstation architecture.Key features of the backplane include bus bars, onboard termination,monolithic design, six-layer construction, decoupling capacitors, andterminated bus lines.Expansion Towers can be configured for 115 VAC or 230 VAC operation, andwill operate over a frequency range of 47 to 67 Hz. The operatingenvironment for the enclosure is 0 to 55 degrees C, with less than 95percent noncondensing humidity.
